Engineer-reviewed production planning for test batches, sample approval, pilot runs, repeat orders, finishing, packing, and delivery.
Frequently asked questions
What quantities can I request?
Enter the test, pilot, repeat-order, or annual volume you are planning. The team must confirm process fit and available capacity before accepting a production quantity.
Can I approve a sample before a production batch?
Add a sample requirement and acceptance criteria to the RFQ. The production plan can then include a documented approval gate before the larger release.
Which files should I provide?
STL, STEP, STP, OBJ, and 3MF are accepted by the browser intake. Add a PDF drawing when tolerances, inspection points, threads, or assembly notes affect the review.
Can you recommend a material?
Yes, request a material review and describe load, temperature, outdoor exposure, chemicals, flexibility, cosmetic needs, and expected quantity. Availability is confirmed during quoting.
Do you provide an instant price?
No automated production price is presented. The request gathers the files and manufacturing context required for an engineer-reviewed quote.
How are design files protected?
In preview mode, selected files stay in your browser and are not uploaded. Online transmission is enabled only when a reviewed RFQ endpoint and its security policy are configured.
When should I consider injection molding?
Consider molding when the design is stable, volume is high enough to justify tooling, and customization is limited. A quote review should compare the project stage, demand risk, and total landed cost.
